Grab your umbrellas: unsettled weather pattern returns

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MADISON (WKOW) – After a very pleasant start to the weekend, wet weather returns this evening, Sunday and Monday.

A warm front will approach our area tonight allowing for scattered showers and a few rumbles to develop after midnight from SW to NE.

Conditions stay similarly warm on Sunday with highs in the mid 70s, but humidity levels will increase, allowing for some more scattered showers and storms.

A couple storms in the afternoon or evening may be strong to severe with high winds and hail the main concerns. We are under a “marginal” (category 1) risk for severe weather.

As the slow-moving, upper-level low pressure system continues to move through on Monday, expect more scattered showers and t-showers, with the rain threat ending in the evening. Temps stay seasonal in the upper 70s.

The heat is ON later in the week. Click here for your full 27 Storm Track forecast.
