Unsettled finish to the weekend

MADISON (WKOW) — You might get chased indoors if you have outdoor plans today. The same can be said for tomorrow, too.

An approaching warm front will provide the focus for some showers and storms today, especially around midday.

Only isolated storms are expected during the afternoon as the front trudges northward into central Wisconsin. So while it won’t be a washout today, you’ll definitely want to stay “weather aware”. A shower or storm may linger into the evening before ending by bedtime.

A cold front will bring another round of showers and storms on Monday, so keep the rain gear on hand. Highs the next two days will remain below average, in the mid to upper 70s.

We’ll crack the 80-degree mark on Tuesday, and actually stay there for a while! Click¬†here for your 27 Storm Track extended forecast.
