MADISON (WKOW) – Conditions quiet overnight with lots of sunshine returning to start off Tuesday.

FORECAST
Expect just a few more showers and storms through around 8-9 pm this evening. A couple of the storms could have some small hail or gusty winds, but the severe weather threat will diminish through the evening.

Temps tonight dip to the low 60s with clearing skies.

Tuesday starts off with generous sunshine which will quickly get temps to the low and mid 80s. Humidity levels will increase later in the afternoon and some clouds will build as another cold front works its way into Wisconsin.

Showers and storms will fire along this front but there is a *chance* all storms stay south of the state-line, if the front progresses quickly enough through the day.

As of now, we’ll say there’s a chance for a couple strong storms for our southernmost row of counties closest to Illinois.

If storms do fire up, they could have high winds and some hail, similar threats to Monday’s weather system.

Wednesday looks great with high pressure in control, drier conditions with temps in the low to mid 80s.

Humidity increases Thursday through the weekend with highs soaring to the mid to upper 80s. Feels-like temps will likely get above 90° this weekend!

As the heat and humidity soar, a couple storms could fire up late week or into the weekend. Click here for your full forecast.
