MADISON (WKOW) — Sunshine will continue for the late morning hours and going into midday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop late day and this evening, while some storms could potentially continue into the overnight hours.
Hazy, hot, and humid conditions will all be apart of a warm front passing by this afternoon, which will turn the atmosphere unstable. More dry hours during the daytime, so still a great day for the pool, but you may want to get outdoors before this evening.

Tonight near sunset and overnight will be the most severe threat for thunderstorm activity. Lows will fall in the mid to upper 60s. While some storms could redevelop tomorrow morning for the drive into work; they will dissipate quickly around midday or late morning.
This weekend we could get a taste of some more hot and humid weather with heat index values close to the triple digits.
