MADISON (WKOW) — The newest Climate Prediction Center outlook has the highest chance for above average temps right on top of us for the rest of the month.

On the back side of a cold front, temperatures and humidity will drop tonight. Temps will drop into the mid 60s.

The cooler and drier conditions will continue for tomorrow with temps will be in the upper 70s and partly sunny skies. Enjoy it while you can because temps and humidity will crank back up and stick around.

A few showers and storms are possible late Friday night and into the Saturday morning. Heat is back on Friday through the rest of the forecast with temps in the upper 80s and low 90s and feels like temps even hotter.
