MADISON (WKOW) – The active weather pattern continues with more occasional showers and storms through the weekend.

TODAY
An upper-level area of low pressure is slowly passing through southern Wisconsin allowing a few isolated showers today. On the back side of the system, it’ll be cooler with temps only in the low 70s.

THURSDAY
Overall, Thursday looks pleasant with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s; it’ll also be less humid.

FRIDAY
Another system moves through with scattered showers and t-showers expected. Highs top off in the mid 70s.

WEEKEND
A few storms are possible as a warm front moves in from the south. Higher chance for storms will be overnight and early on Sunday morning. Temps will be warmer with humidity returning and highs in the low 80s.
