Weekend warm-up will drive up storm chances

MADISON (WKOW) – After a mild week, temps will start cranking the next several days with a few storms possible over the weekend.

TONIGHT
Skies clear overnight with temps cooler in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY
Humidity levels creep up with winds out of the SW at 5-10. It’ll be warmer with highs in the low to mid 80s. Storm threat returns late in the evening and overnight.

SUNDAY
Showers and maybe a few t-showers will linger into Sunday morning with a half inch to an inch widespread before clearing later in the day with another summery set up with temps in the low to mid 80s.

MONDAY
The start of the work week will be more pleasant than the last couple Mondays. Mostly to partly sunny and still warm and humid with temps peaking in the mid to upper 80s. Storms are possible overnight.

TUESDAY
Expect a higher chance for storms on Tuesday with a cold front passing through. Conditions stay warm and humid in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY
Comfortably pleasant conditions return. We’ll be much drier with highs in the upper 70s.
